The floor graphic was printed on GCM's Roland SolJet XR-640 large-format printer. The most notable challenge about this project was trying to apply the vinyl without creating any air bubbles. Overall, the process was simple and seamless.
I ended up liking the graphic a lot and I wanted to do some experimenting with it. Rather than keeping the design static, I added more "tabs" to it and created a GIF by following this tutorial.
In the Winter 2020 school semester, this design was re-purposed for a proposed large-format vinyl product. The basis of the design was used to present a series of inspirational quotes, which would be placed in an area in the Heidelberg building.
