All of the shapes and lines are either varnished or gold foiled and varnished. The shapes that are yellow in the image above were gold foiled in the final design. Below are images of the proof that I received from Konica Minolta.
GCM Awards Night
Every year, students enrolled in the Digital Printing Technologies course at Toronto Metropolitcan University create a print embellishment design for GCM Awards Night, an event that recognizes academic excellence in the Graphic Communications Management program. Partnering with Konica Minolta, students are encouraged to apply varnish and gold foil to their design. Inspired by my passion for illustration, I created a colourful and playful cover design. This cover was chosen as one of the runner-ups for the event.
