Component Libraries in Figma

As better technologies and software arise, JAM does its best to both adapt and adopt. In this case, JAM had been using Adobe XD to house its component libraries – a system comprised of pre-built modules for our clients that made the email creation process more efficient. As Figma rose as the industry standard, a small team, including myself, was tasked with moving everything over and making sure that our modules still worked as originally intended. During my time at JAM, I've been consistently involved in the creation and maintenance of component libraries. It was a challenge to move existing work to another platform but this process helped me build a better understanding of how Figma works and how to use it both effectively and efficiently.
